Week of August 25th

This show is meant as a tribute to the new Freshman class here at the University of Iowa. They are a scrappy bunch that will turn out at least three really shady radio programs during their first semester (if they decide to get on the radio). I did shady programming because it’s just what happens. When I was a freshman, I did shady electronic programming. So, in tribute to the youth, I did a show that I did when I was a youth.

Jamiroquai - The Return of the Space Cowboy - The Return of the Space Cowboy

Les Rhythmes Digitales - Hypnotize - Darkdancer

Miss Kittin & The Hacker - Life on MTV - First Album

Felix Da Housecat - Control Freaq - Kittenz & Thee Glitz

Bobby Peru - Into The Feeling - Ultra 80s v. Electro (V/A)

Adult. - Turn Your Back - Anxiety Always

Ellen Allien - Push - Berlinette

Mr. Oizo - Flat Beat - Analog Worms Attack (Still one of the best house songs ever)

Groove Armada - Superstylin’ - Goodbye Country, Hello Nightclub

Chemical Brothers - Galaxy Bounce - Come With Us

FPU - Ocean Drive (Crockett’s Theme) - This is Tech-Pop (V/A)

Four Tet - Aying - Dialogue

Casino Vs. Japan - It’s Very Sunny - Go Hawaii

Boards of Canada - Telephasic Workshop - Music Has The Right To Children

PM Dawn - Set Adrift on Memory Bliss - Of The Heart, of the soul and of the cross

Ladytron - CSKA Sofia - 604

Matmos - For The Trees - The Civil War

Luomo - Body Speaking - The Present Lover

Taylor Deupree - Tokyo - Comma,

Squarepusher - Come On My Selector - Big Loada (Don’t know where this happened. I didn’t enter my playlist totally correctly)

Faithless - Insomnia - Single
