Week of September 1st

This blog post exists as a marker to the fact I did a radio show this week. I didn’t like this show so much. It was fine, but I thought that it could have gone considerably better than it actually did.

It contained two separate thoughts. The first was building playlists from Gus Gus’s 1997 album Polydistorsion. That was fine for the first two blocks, but then I got offensively bored.

So, in transition, I just started playing house music. At this point, I should note how psyched I am for the new Mr. Oizo album. I can’t wait to hear Stade 2 as “Beat For The Douches” is killer right now. Anyway, the house went in this house beat for a while then ended. I got a mention on twitter, so I’m not complaining too much. It wasn’t up to the standards that I like to keep on my show.

I’m bringing better heat this coming week.
